Keith Smyser serves as Associate Pastor of Adult ministries, Education Coordinator & Evangelism at Hermitage Hills Baptist Church.
Keith’s passion is to see people assimilated into small group Bible study. His desire is to see people in their small groups experience the following: loved unconditionally, ministered to by need, minister to others when they have need, missed when absent, taught the Bible and how to apply it to their lives, and presented with the claims of Christ. Then as people grow in their walk with the Lord they begin serving the Lord through various ministries at HHBC.
Keith is a Kentucky native and has served churches in five different states as an education minister over the last 31 years. Currently Keith has served at HHBC for four years. He is married to his wife Teresa and together they enjoy ministering to strengthen & encourage marriages. Keith & Teresa’s family includes a daughter, Whitney, who is student at Campbellsville University in Kentucky, and a son & daughter-in-law, Aaron & Samantha Smyser, who live & work in Starkville, MS.
Keith enjoys golf, running, and walking with Teresa. Despite living in big Orange country and near Vanderbilt’s black & gold he is a die hard Kentucky fan.
