The Volunteer Ministry is the core of many ministries of Hermitage Hills Baptist Church. Everywhere you look around, volunteers are giving their time and talents to further the Kingdom of God through serving in one capacity or another. Here is a list of the "Great 8", which are considered our greatest needs for those looking to volunteer.

1. PRAYER WALKING CAMPAIGN COORDINATORS: Help us by coordinating the prayer walking efforts at one of our campuses. This team is essential in helping us keep track of the neighborhoods where we have walked Jesus throughout. There is no better time to take the Gospel to the streets, but we need some help doing it. Could that be you? Contact Greg Sizemore at gsizemore@hhbconline.com.
2. ODDS AND ENDS MINISTRY TEAM: Since Hermitage Hills Baptist Church includes approx. 200,000 + sq. ft. of space, our limited staff cannot cover all that is needed in these buildings on a weekly basis. There is always something small to be done around a church this size and with three locations as well. Do you have some time on your hands and you would love to do it by serving your church? You can assist our House and Grounds Ministry Team and keep our facilities in top notch condition. Contact Dan Arterburn at darterburn@hhbconline.com if you are interested.
3. OFFICE ASSISTANCE: Each of our Administrative Assistants work tirelessly, yet with such an exciting array of events and ministries, there are only so many hours in a day. If you would like to get your feet in on the ground floor and you have a couple of hours each week or during the month, please contact one of our Admins—they would love it!

4. FIRST TOUCH GREETERS: It’s a warm handshake, a friendly greeting and a pleasant smile that makes Hermitage Hills Baptist Church such a friendly place. Anyone can do it, so step up, grab a door and make a friend. If you can, help us fill in a few gaps in the First Touch Ministry contact Greg Sizemore at gsizemore@hhbconline.com.
5. CAMPUS CONNECTORS: With the continuing adventure of being a multi-site church, we have discovered a volunteer position that could really help. Throughout the year, each campus offers different events and in each case there is a need for assistance. Connectors will help rally the troops at each campus to connect with events at other campuses while helping to maintain One Church. Interested? Contact Scott McConnell at scott.mcconnell@lifeway.com.
6. ORCHESTRA: Have you played an instrument in the past but haven’t picked it up in 5-10+ years? The HHBC Orchestra is a group of dedicated musicians/instrumentalists who are using their God-given gifts to worship and glorify the name of Jesus Christ. We are currently looking to expand our orchestra family and would love for YOU to be part of this vital and impacting ministry! If you are interested in being a part of our orchestra family, please contact the Interim Orchestra Director, Monica Zsolt, for more information at mzsolt@hhbconline.com.
7. WORSHIP PRODUCTION VOLUNTEERS: Become a part of a team that seeks to enhance the worship experience of everyone who walks in our doors each Sunday. Experience and understanding are not necessary, because that can be taught, but we need people who have a heart and passion for worship instilled by God. If interested, contact Jeremy Owens at jowens@hhbconline.com.
8. SINGLE ADULT MINISTRY CREATIVE TEAM: The Single Adult Ministry is growing and looking for volunteer leaders to join our creative team. Current opportunities include event photography, newsletter design, social media strategy, and community outreach. If you have a background in any of these areas or just have a desire to serve, please contact Ryan Mason at rmason@hhbconline.com.
