Several years ago, our pastor led our church to really envision becoming a Mission-Involved Church.
We changed from having three or four emphases a year to having one grand campaign that would take
place in November. Throughout the month of November, our L.I.F.E. Missions Ministry strives to challenge
our congregation to breath life into missions by Praying, Giving and Going on Mission.
The month is filled with events like the Annual Prayer Breakfast, Mission Fair, Flag Celebration and special
guests. Our children and preschoolers get involved with the poster contest and the preschool parade of
banks. In addition, you will get to hear and/or read testimonies from those who have been on mission this
last year.
On November 23rd, we conduct Commitment Sunday. It is here where the family of Hermitage Hills Baptist Church get to step up to the plate and see what God wants to do. Some will pray, some will give, some will commit to go and some will do all three.
It's going to be a great month - hopefully like Isaiah, we will all say, "Lord, here am I - send me!!!"
