Being "Mission Minded" is a key attitude for God’s church to be blessed. The reason Jesus came was for mankind to have a path available to them to God. Jesus made that path by the way of his birth to resurrection. What does it mean to be "Mission Minded?"
First and foremost, it means to have a mind to PRAYfor missions. To give of your knees to cover missionaries, countries, people-groups and lives in prayer support. Praying for people you have never met; praying that their lives will intersect with Jesus Christ.
Second, it means to have a mind to GIVE to missions. To give sacrificially so that missionaries and materials can be provided to ensure that the Gospel can go to every person around the world. Your mission giving makes it possible for the good news to be spread from state to state and from nation to nation.
Third, it means to have a mind to GO on missions. To give of your time to participate this next year in one of our local, national or foreign mission projects. These mission trips will be organized and prepared for you to enjoy the trip as well as make an investment in the lives of people. An investment that will be laying treasures up in heaven!
