FIRST WEDNESDAY - FIRST PRIORITY A DAY OF FASTING & PRAYER
A NIGHT OF PRAISE & WORSHIP 6:30 PM IN THE WORSHIP CENTER
October 1st * November 5th * December3rd
The only ministry event that takes place on the First Wednesday every month is 1st Wednesday … 1st Priority. All children, students, and adults meet in the worship center for a wonderful time of community, sharing, praising, and prayer.
This is one of the most memorable times of the month … you won’t want to miss it … it’s powerful and meaningful.
In Psalm 2:1-8, the Bible tells us that we should expect the rebellion of nations, the plotting of people, as they conspire against what the Bible calls "chains" and "restraints". God calls upon us as believers to follow the example of our Savior. God the Father turns to God the Son and says: "ASK OF ME". This asking is a Hebrew word that means to see, to enquire, and even to beg. God's word compels us to go into His presence with hearts and lives that are willing not only to seek and enquire but to be willing to loose all pride and BEG God to move. We have the joy of joining with the Son as He desires none to perish but for all to come to eternal life and to have a relationship with the Father through His blood.
I invite you to join with me as we Beg God to Touch our Hearts … and Change our lives. Join me in a revolution of called and committed believers and let us go to the throne of grace expecting God to give that which is beyond what we can imagine or think. Let's Beg God together for a Spiritual Awakening for the lost and a Revival for the saved. Could we be so bold as to expect God to do that which he longs to do, if we will just only pray! Verse eight ends with a promise … "I will make the nations Your inheritance … and the ends of the earth Your possession". God desires to take those who have rebelled, plotted, conspired, desired to be free from God's principles and bring them to Himself. If we will but only Beg God to call them to Himself. What a challenge but what a joy to join together for the most important task that any person can have … "seeking and saving the lost".
Let's Beg Together,
Dr. Poly Rouse
Dear Fellow Believer:
I would like to invite you to be a part of the Prayer Ministry of HHBC. I truly believe God's hand moves when people pray. I believe God is doing great things in the lives of our people and I believe he is going to do greater things as we seek Him in prayer.
When God is going to do something wonderful, He begins with an impossibility.
Faith becomes the fuel that makes the impossible possible and prayer
My goal is to lift prayer to a place of priority in our church, motivate believers to commune with God and for all of us to learn to pray the way Jesus intended for us to--"that His will be done on earth as it is in heaven", Matthew 6:10.
As I personally seek His way in my own life through prayer, I know that the truth revealed in the scriptures become truth for me to live out my everyday life. John 16:13 says "The Spirit of truth will guide you".
Join us in the Prayer Ministry as He shows us His way, teaches us His path and guides us into His truth, knowing that together our church will become The House of Prayer God intended for us to be.
