Here are just a few observations from some of those who have attended...
Last night I completed Lifelines 101. I certainly enjoyed each segment and those that led them. That’s why I’ve copied them on this email – to let them know I appreciate the good job they did. Even though I’ve been a Christian for 43 years and have been on staff at SBC churches and worked for the SBC Executive Committee for 12 years, I still think it’s a great idea to have the Lifelines program and make at least 101 a prerequisite for certain types of service. Lifelines is a ministry designed to challenge and encourage spiritual growth among our membership and those friends who are checking us out. It’s more than a program; it’s a path. A path that anyone can follow; a path that will provide our church family tools to effectively Love our Community, Impact our City, Fortify our Nation, and Embrace our World.
The next Exploring Membership 101 class begins January 21st at 6:00pm. Our classes will be moving to Sunday evenings from now on. Exploring Membership 101 is a first step that could help establish a pattern of growing in your faith
