Statement of Purpose
We seek to have a deeper impact upon our surrounding community by touching lives in new and meaningful ways. The Hermitage Hills Arts Academy is part of how this is accomplished. It is an extended program of fine arts education designed to provide quality instruction that will prepare persons for future service through the development of skills in performance and ministry. We believe that our talents have been given to us by God and that it is our responsibility to develop and use them for His honor and glory.

Faculty and Facilities
The Arts Academy is now located and under the administration of Donelson Christian Academy. All staff members have degrees and expertise in their field and are competent performers with successful teaching experience. Operating Schedule
We operate on a year-round, 40 week, 3-term schedule, with a 1 to 2 week break between terms and time off for spring break. The 2008-2009 dates are as follows:
SUMMER*, June - August
*8 to 10 sessions will be taught at convenient times during the summer term.
**Exception to this schedule may apply to some of our group instruction classes.

Tuition pays for 30 lessons during the school year, 15 each term. Tuition may be paid either by the term, due at the beginning of the term, or in equal monthly payments, due at the first lesson of each month. If monthly payments are received after the 15th of each month, a $5 late fee will be added. Our current rates are as follows:
30-Minute Private Lessons
Five Equal Monthly Payments of $60 or a total of $300 per term
45-Minute Private Lessons
Five Equal Monthly Payments of $90 or a total of $450 per term
60-Minute Private Lessons
Five Equal Monthly Payments of $120 or a total of $600 per term
Summer Lessons are paid per lesson; those rates are as follows:
$20 for 30 minutes, $30.00 for 45 minutes, or $40.00 for 60 minutes
Group Instruction Offered
Beginning Piano Class (5 - 6 year olds)
12 - 45 minute sessions - $100 per term
Elementary Drama (3rd – 5th Grades)
12 - 60 minute sessions - $120 per term + $10 performance fee
Fiddlesticks – Violin Performance Group (7 years old & up)
10 – 60 minute sessions - $100 per term
Worship Jam Band (12 years old & up)
6 – 90 minute sessions - $100 per term
For students enrolled in group instruction, tuition may be paid in full at the beginning of each term or in two equal installments, the first being due by Sept. 1st and the second by October 1st. Payments received after the 15th of either month will incur a $5 late fee.
For both private and group instruction, tuition is an instructional fee only. Musical instruments (except for piano) and books are the responsibility of the student.
Registration
To sign up for classes, simply click here to download our current brochure and registration form. Print it, complete it (one per student), and mail it to us along with the annual, non-refundable registration fee of $35 per student. Registration is official when we have received both the form and the fee. At that time, we will place you with the appropriate instructor and he or she will contact you about a lesson time.
