You may join by PROFESSION OF YOUR FAITH in Jesus Christ and following him in baptism by immersion. This is the normal way of joining our membership. The Church is a body of baptized believers in Jesus Christ. Therefore, there are two things each person must do before joining. He must receive Jesus Christ as his personal savior and follow him in baptism.
You may also join by TRANSFER OF YOUR MEMBERSHIP LETTER from another church of like faith and practice. If you have already received Jesus as your personal savior and have already been baptized by immersion and belong to a Southern Baptist Church, then you simply transfer your membership. That is a simple office procedure. Our church office notifies your former church, out of courtesy, that you have become a member here. They will then remove your name from their rolls and we will put of the rolls of this church.
You may join upon your STATEMENT OF FAITH IN CHRIST AND YOUR BAPTISM. If you have been a member of a church or received Christ in your heart in the past and been baptized by immersion but do not know where your membership is, you may join upon statement. In some cases you may belong to a church that does not transfer membership records across denominational lines. So in simple words, "We take your word for it."
And finally you may join by BAPTISM. You may have received Christ into your heart in the past but have never been previously baptized by immersion. Some people were baptized as infants or come from a church background where they were sprinkled. Some just never had the chance to follow-through with baptism. Thus, they simply join by being baptized, by immersion, as a believer in Christ
* You may join our church by coming forward during one of our public worship services at the time of invitation. Simply come forward and indicate to one of the pastors that it is your desire to join the church. You may also join by making an appointment with the pastor and discussing membership with him in his office.
